Honoring This Traditional Territory

Keystone School is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation and other Indigenous peoples who have lived here over time. We acknowledge and thank the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation for being stewards of this traditional territory. We are grateful to share this land as treaty people who learn, work and live in the community with each other.

Our philosophy here at Keystone School is centered around respect. We strive to create an inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of every student, wherein respect for others, themselves, and their environment is modeled and encouraged.

We value emotional well-being, creativity, and expression, and support the development of individuality.

Our aim is to help children realize their full potential by having them be active participants in their own learning and giving them the skills, they need to achieve their full potential.

Our vision is to enlighten our students by sparking curiosity in the world around them. We strive to instill independence and a higher level of thinking through a holistic teaching approach that takes into account the whole child.

Our mission is to nurture students into becoming individuals with the educational and social skills necessary for a healthy and happy life by fostering respect and awareness for the people and environment around them.
