I was prepared for a stressful and uncertain final year of high school, but with the support, kindness, and generosity of those in the Keystone community, this school year became truly memorable. From the very first day, our teachers made me feel comfortable enough to know that I could confide in them any time I needed to. Keystone is truly a supportive and caring environment.

At Keystone School, I found a welcoming environment that balanced challenge with support. The initial adjustment was made easier by the friendly atmosphere fostered by both students and teachers. Throughout my time there, the academic program pushed me to excel, and the guidance of the faculty prepared me well for university. Reflecting on my experience, I appreciate the friendships made and the lessons learned, which have contributed to my personal and academic development. While leaving Keystone behind brings mixed feelings, I am grateful for the foundation it provided as I move forward.

After two years of studying at Keystone, I can confidently say that in this relatively short period, I’ve managed to forge a strong relationship and connection with the school. Beyond that, I’ve also laid the groundwork for my education, acquired valuable knowledge, and gained practical experience that will undoubtedly serve me well in university and beyond. For this privilege, I feel both honoured and deeply grateful.

If I had a chance to go back in time, I definitely would choose to study at Keystone again! I am thankful for all the encouragement, support, assistance, valuable feedback and kindness. The knowledge that I was awarded with at Keystone is extremely helpful for me now, as a university student.

The experiences I’ve had at Keystone have all shaped who I am today, and I can’t imagine myself anywhere else. I am really grateful for all of my experiences at Keystone, as well as the life-long friends that I made. Being a senior, I have bittersweet feelings about leaving this community behind, yet, I know that the ideals and values of Keystone will stay with me wherever I go.

I found it so easy to make new friends when I first came to Keystone School, students and teachers both made me feel so welcome. I was really happy there and enjoyed attending school every day.

My teachers were fantastic motivators, and the academic program was excellent. My time at Keystone School was extraordinary.

I joined this school with the intention of preparing for university. Keystone’s teachers are experienced, knowledgeable and caring. The contents and styles of teaching are perfect preparation for university.

I enjoyed my time at Keystone very much, especially because I felt welcomed from the first day I arrived. It is always a pleasure to return and visit the teachers and administrative staff who impacted my life so significantly. I feel that my courses and the relationships I formed prepared me for my time in university.

We are learning something really useful in our daily lives here. Teachers not only teach us something from the textbook but teach us more skills that we can use in our real lives. At Keystone, we have lovely teachers and interesting classmates. Everyone studies here, meets new friends here, and has a lot of fun here. I absolutely fell in love with this school.

There are so many opportunities for us to discover our interests and talents. We entered the COSTI’s Refugees & Human Rights Child & Youth Poetry Contest, and I placed 1st in all of Canada. I’m happy to say that, with the help of Keystone, I am now studying in a program at a school that perfectly fits me.
