At Keystone, we offer a wide variety of extracurriculars to students during after-school hours.
We rotate our club offerings each semester, based on student interest and staff expertise.

Video Editing Club |
During our most popular club at Keystone, our students work on curating, filming and editing videos based on their own creative interests and ideas. You can see the fruits of their labour posted on our school’s Instagram page. |
Environmental Club |
Keystone is part of the EcoSchools initiative, and the members of this club ensure that our school community adheres to certain guidelines to promote environmental awareness. Some club events include school-wide informative presentations, Meatless Monday, Waste-free Lunch, and various recycling projects. |
Art Club |
We have many staff members at Keystone who are passionate about visual arts and who even have their own creative businesses. During this club, they share their expertise and the techniques they have learned through their education and careers with our students, and the club takes care of decorating the school building for various occasions. |
Waterloo Math Competition |
Several of our grade 11 and 12 students participate in this math club and are led by our senior math teachers to prepare by completing practice tests and sample questions on a regular basis. |
Debate Club |
This club is a vibrant forum where students engage in lively discussions, honing their persuasive skills while exploring diverse viewpoints. From dissecting current events to debating philosophical questions, this club fosters an environment of critical thinking and respectful discourse. |
Martial Arts Club |
We occasionally welcome guest teachers into the school who are trained in specific martial arts practices to lead our students in self-defense training and overall physical fitness activities. |
Yearbook Committee |
This club works year-round to collect images and written pieces for our yearbook. They are also responsible for the yearbook’s design and printing. |
Graduation Committee |
This group of students works closely with our staff to fundraise for and plan our graduation ceremony and celebration. They speak directly to their fellow students to ensure maximum involvement by all of the Keystone community in this important event. |
