This acronym stands for Two-Spirit, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer or Questioning, Intersex, Asexual. You can learn more about the history of Pride in Canada and the importance of this time of awareness at this link.

Final Field Trips of the Year

Our students in all grade levels went on some exciting trips last month to round-out the school year!

Check out the photos below…

Our Phys. Ed. class enjoyed a trip to Rock Oasis to spend an afternoon rock climbing and building their strength and fitness.

Our English class visited the Bata Shoe Museum to collect historical information and contextual details for a short story assignment.

Our grade 10 and 12 History and Social Science classes visited the Toronto Archives to explore the history of our school building at 23 Toronto Street and how it has evolved from the late 1800’s to today.

Information Exchange with See Saw School (Brazil)

Our students engaged in an exchange of information with See Saw School, located in Brazil. Blin, Emilya and Tazi (led by Mr. Mes) put together a presentation on sustainability in Canada and shared it with their counterparts at the Brazilian school, as well as with our students. Our students then listened to a presentation on the same topic by the students at See Saw. This is one of many exchanges of learning that we encourage and provide opportunities for our students to engage in!

2024 Graduation

We are excited to be holding our 2024 Graduation Ceremony on Friday June 14th!

Please RSVP via the email you would have received.

It was June, and the world smelled of roses.

The sunshine was like powdered gold over the grassy hillside.
