We’re University Bound!
We’re proud to share that several of our Grade 12 students have already begun receiving early university offers and scholarships, including UofT’s International Merit Award ($50,000) and High Point University’s full-ride scholarship ($280,000 USD)! With $500,000+ in scholarship offers so far and 88% of graduates entering STEM fields, our students are securing their spots at top institutions. Congratulations to our graduates on this exciting milestone—we look forward to celebrating many more offers in the weeks ahead!

Guest Speaker Series
We welcomed Teo Salgado, educational consultant and founder of VerveSmith, to kick off this year’s guest speaker series. With over 20 years of experience in academic planning and admissions at the University of Toronto and Western University, Teo talked to our students about career trajectories and how to pursue opportunities across borders.
Out and About
Students participated in a variety of activities this month, visiting the local library, theatre, and skating rink!
Yorkville Library Workshop
Our students took a trip to the Yorkville Public Library to explore the many resources the library has to offer, learn how to use research databases effectively, and sign up for their own library cards.
Ice Skating Field Trip
Our Student Council organized a field trip to Dufferin Grove Park Ice Rink for our middle school students to participate in a day of outdoor winter fun full of skating and ice hockey. With helmets securely fastened and skates laced up, students took to the ice ready to challenge themselves and embrace the Canadian winter spirit!
Une pièce de théâtre en français
Our Middle School students returned to Alliance Français for a lively theatre performance entitled Les 3 petits vieux qui ne voulaient pas mourir. Presented by the talented theatre troupe Théâtre du Fret, the show blended clowning, music, and storytelling to celebrate life through the eyes of three characters in the twilight of their lives. The performance was both humorous and touching, offering students an engaging opportunity to experience French language and culture in the most creative and memorable way!
