Welcome to Keystone’s dynamic and enriching summer camp experience in the heart of the Annex!

Our summer camp program strikes the perfect balance between enjoyment and academic engagement, offering crucial skills development while also provide opportunities for students to explore Toronto and apply their knowledge to real-world experiences and settings.

This camp is open to students going into grades 7, 8 or 9.

Summer Camp Focus

Schedule: 9:30am – 3:30pm

  • Learn how to responsibly use of AI
  • Learn how to correctly use MLA/APA citation styles
  • Develop fundamental research skills & determining reliability and credibility of primary and secondary sources

Schedule: 9:30am – 3:30pm

  • Understand the different types of presentations (ex- debates, PPT, informative vs. persuasive)
  • Learn how to make and give a compelling presentation

Schedule: 9:30am – 3:30pm

  • Learn how to identify a problem
  • Learn how to identify its causes
  • Explore how to fix the problem with innovative solutions

Schedule: 9:30am – 3:30pm

  • A focus on organizational techniques to hone study skills (ex- calendars/agendas, to-do lists, goal setting)
  • Learn how to complete close readings of various types of texts (ex- fiction, non-fiction, primary vs. secondary sources)
  • Learn how to properly and effectively use quotations in research and literary essays

Summer Camp Dates

Week 1: August 6th-9th ($300.00 fee for this week)

Week 2: August 12th-16th

Week 3: August 19th-23rd

Week 4: August 26th-30th

Students have the option to participate in all 4 weeks of our Academic Skills summer camp, or to participate in a single week or a combination of their choosing.

Day starts at 9:30 am and ends at 3:30pm.

$375.00 per week

We will require a minimum of  4 students in each weekly camp for it to run this summer.

If the summer program is cancelled, the student will receive a full refund.

Otherwise, refunds will only be granted if notice is given 1 month prior to the start of the program.

Lunch is not included, but there are several locations nearby the school where lunch can be purchased by students. Students who choose to bring their lunch will have access to a fridge and microwave at the school.

Each student is required to bring a laptop with them to the school. We also recommend that students bring a notebook and writing materials.
