A New Semester
Semester 2 is off to a fantastic start as we welcome new students and familiar faces to campus. After successfully completing their exams, our students are settling into new courses and classrooms are buzzing again with fresh energy and new connections!

Pitch Perfect
Our Grade 7-10 students took to the stage to give the judges their best business pitches at our recent in-house Dragon’s Den Pitch Competition, thanks to the YMCA’s Youth 4 Entrepreneurship program. This was the culminating activity after 5 weeks of Homeroom workshops leading up to a fabulous end result! We’re very proud of our finalists and look forward to someday seeing their business ideas come to life.
Special mention to Petar, Augusto, Santiago, Hao Hao and Brandon for winning prizes in their categories!
Abstract Walk at Alliance Française
During a recent field trip to Alliance Française, middle school students visited the painting exhibition Abstract Walk by visual artist Moses Salihou. In this cross-curricular exploration of French and art, students toured the gallery before creating abstract artworks of their own, inspired by Salihou’s style.
YMCA Workshops
From financial literacy to branding, social media, business model canvas, networking, pitches and storytelling, Homeroom has come alive with Youth 4 Entrepreneurship!
Squash at the RCYC
Our middle school students have been enjoying their introduction to squash via lessons with their instructor at the RCYC. Here’s to a season full of agility, focus, and sportsmanship!
Gedi Guild Begins
Following a Professional Development Day filled with coaching conversations full of impact for our educators, students enjoyed co-creating expectations at the first of many skill building workshops in Social Emotional Learning with Ashley from Gedi Guild.
